The Avodah Institute has worked with Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City to develop an exciting new lunchtime series called, "Faith & Work Wednesdays." Avodah's David Miller was one of the featured presenters, speaking on "Getting a Fresh Start on Your Finances."

Faith & Work Wednesdays
A 5 -part lunchtime series aimed at helping you get
"A Fresh Start in Your Whole Business Life!"

The new millennium is the perfect time to make a "fresh start" in your work life. Are you evaluating new career possibilities? Does money play a major role in your work life? Are you content with your relationship to your boss and co-workers? How to you balance family, work and recreation? How to you enact your faith in the workplace?

This series offers you the opportunity to listen to professionals personally reflect on how they integrate faith and work. Each session is followed by a brief time in which the issues raised by the speaker can be discussed by everyone. We end with a word of prayer.

Sessions begin promptly at 12:30PM and end punctually at 1:15PM. We meet in the Sanctuary of The Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street. You do not need to be a member of this church to attend this series. While people of all religious faiths are welcome, we approach our discussions through the Christian tradition. Bring a friend and come join us as we nourish both body and soul for life in the workplace!
